I see someone else had some issue with the filters falling off; in my case the filters work great. They come with one plastic piece that screws on to the pump, there's no way the filters can fall off of mine. Perhaps the product changed. One downside is that this product comes with two filters, but only one plastic bit for them to attach to. I had hoped to buy one pack of filters for TWO pumps, but I can't do that, since I need two plastic bits. Like another said, these filter large stuff that might break your pump, like leaves, fish, hair, etc., but don't filter small particulates.
